Brian's law enforcement experience includes patrol operations, crime prevention, community engagement, multifamily housing initiatives, and problem-oriented policing. He works with residents, businesses, property managers, community organizations, and municipal stakeholders to address crime and disorder and improve community safety.
In addition, Brian has more than two decades of service as a U.S. Army officer. His military experience includes leadership, physical security, operational planning, logistics, training, and organizational management in assignments throughout the United States and internationally, including Iraq, Afghanistan, South Korea, and Europe. He currently serves as an instructor with the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
His approach to security incorporates the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), including natural surveillance, access control, territorial reinforcement, property management, and other strategies intended to reduce opportunities for criminal activity.
